On Sunday night (January 10), the 73rd Annual Golden Globes Awards took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills (California). Caitriona looked very elegant in a romantic lace gown by Alexander McQueen, accessorized with Fred Leighton jewelry, a Christian Louboutin handbag and Roger Vivier shoes. Several photos from her arrival at the ceremony have been added to the gallery, be sure to check them!

She also attended the WP and InStyle Golde Globes After Party, changing her dress with a beautiful simply white dress by Alexander Wang and Fred Leighton earrings. Photos have been added to the gallery as well!

Caitriona and Sam Thanks Fans for People’s Choice Awards

If there’s something we can be sure, is that Outlander fandom is amazing when comes to dedication in polls and such. Outlander has won the People’s Choice Awards once again as Favorite Cable TV Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show and Caitriona has won as Favorite Actress Sci-Fi/Fantasy. The unveiled happened this Wednesday (Jan 06) but unfortunately Cait didn’t attend the show. But they recorded a video after receiving the trophy, and you can watch it below. Congratulations, guys!

Caitriona Receives Golden Globes Nomination!!

The AFPA announced a few minutes ago the nominees for 2016 Golden Globes Awards and Caitriona Balfe received a best actress nomination for her work in Outlander!

Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Drama
a. Caitriona Balfe – Outlander
b. Viola Davis – How to get Away with Murder
c. Eva Green – Penny Dreadful
d. Taraji P Henson – Empire
e. Robin Wright – House of Cards

Tobias Menzies received also a Best Supporting Actor and Outlander was nominated as Best Television Series – Drama

Unfortunately, Sam wasn’t nominated. But I’m very happy for the deserved recognition Cait, Tobias and the show received. It was about time!

The ceremony, hosted by Ricky Gervais for the fourth time, will be held on Jan. 10 and air live on NBC.

People’s Choice unveiled today the final nominees for 2016 People’s Choice Awards and Outlander fandom has been busy lately voting, because Outlander, Caitriona and Sam Heughan was nominated! Outlander is defending its title, since won last year and it’s up to us to keep it that way! Vote as much as you can!
