I’ve added photos of the new Outlander posters and art work and screencaps from the new promo of Sam and Caitriona. It gave me goosebumps! I’ve also added some Unsorted stills from the new season and behind the scenes images. I plan to add a lot of missing images to the gallery prior to San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) so keep checking back! I have a folder full of Outlander images to sort through and add to the site. Enjoy.

Press/Video: Finally, We Have a Premiere Date for Outlander Season 3

Written by admin on July 11 2017

Get the inside info about the new episodes. Plus, an exclusive video of a very anguished Jamie and Claire.

Finally, the Outlander news you’ve been waiting for: We’re thrilled to announce that Season 3 of the STARZ time-travel romance will return Sunday, September 10. Yes, that’s right—you can now mark the end of Droughtlander in your calendar.

Thirteen new episodes devoted to Claire and Jamie will air this fall, and they’ll be based on Voyager, the third of Diana Gabaldon’s eight Outlander books.

Here’s the official season three poster, showing Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) on opposite sides of the standing stone—and in totally different centuries. Claire’s in the 1960s, having returned to her original life, and husband Frank (Tobias Menzies), while Jamie’s in the 1700s. No, you’re crying.

And here’s an exclusive live-action version of the poster, featuring a very anguished Claire and Jamie:

“You can come back to your life,” Claire muses in voiceover, “but it’s never the same. Maybe it’s enough to have gone once. How many people can say they had that?”

As for what we can expect, the new season will pick up right after Claire returns to her old life, pregnant with Jamie’s child. As for Jamie, we’ll see him at the historic battle of Culloden, fighting not only Black Jack Randall but his grief at losing Claire. The battle itself will be epic, showrunner Ronald D. Moore told ELLE.com: “I’m very excited about finally delivering Culloden to the audience after having talked about this pivotal event for so long.”

Moore also says the two are building their lives again independently: “We’re going to reset the story and the characters at the start of the season, giving the audience a window into what happened to Jamie at the battle of Culloden, as well as what happened to Claire in the twentieth century.”

What should fans be most excited about, according to Moore? “Getting to see the ways in which Jamie and Claire grew and changed over the course of their 20-year separation is a very exciting prospect.” And with Scotland, Cape Town, and even an ocean voyage to the New World (which Moore calls “a big turning point in the saga”) on the horizon, the very setting of this epic romance will change.

Of course, a reunion is definitely on the cards for our favorite time-defying lovers, though it might take a while. The only question is whether they’ll still feel the same way after so long apart. But true love never dies, right?

Press: Outlander panel planned for Comic-Con

Written by admin on July 06 2017

It’s official, Outlander nation — the hit Starz drama is coming to Comic-Con this month in San Diego!

Sam Heughan (Jamie Fraser) and Caitriona Balfe (Claire Fraser) will headline an all-star Outlander panel planned for 5 p.m. July 21 in Ballroom 20. Also joining the pair on the dais in the San Diego Convention Center are Tobias Menzies (Black Jack Randall/Frank Randall); Sophie Skelton (Brianna Randall); Richard Rankin (Roger Wakefield); executive producer Ronald D. Moore, executive producer Maril Davis and author Diana Gabaldon.

To help shepherd the discussion about season 3, Starz has recruited actress/dancer and major fan Jenna Dewan Tatum to serve as moderator.

Fans will have multiple chances to get their Outlander fix at Comic-Con. Starz has scheduled an autograph signing session with the cast in its booth, No. 4029, on July 22. (Time is TBA for now). Folks who visit the Starz booth on Thursday and Friday can enter a raffle for a chance to win a spot at the Saturday signing.

And on July 21 at 1:45 p.m., Rankin will be one of six men on EW’s Brave New Warriors panel in Ballroom 20. He’ll be joined by Westworld’s Rodrigo Santoro, American Gods’ Ricky Whittle, Stranger Things’ David Harbour, Happy!’s Christopher Meloni, and Once Upon a Time’s Colin O’ Donoghue to discuss their characters, occasionally awkward fan encounters, and the highs and lows of their Hollywood careers.

And just in case you missed it, EW will release its next Outlander cover in September!

Press: Outlander: EW will release the drama’s next cover in September

Written by admin on June 26 2017

In anticipation of the third season debut of Outlander, EW will release its third cover devoted to the Starz drama in September. Besides offering an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at production that took place in South Africa earlier this year, we’ll release a new set of portraits that are sure to make your pulses race.

That’s not all EW has planned in preparation for the third season based on Voyager, the third book in author Diana Gabaldon’s bestselling Outlander series. Richard Rankin, who plays Roger Wakefield in the series, will follow in Sam Heughan’s footsteps by participating in the magazine’s annual Brave New Warriors panel July 21 at Comic-Con International in San Diego. And come September, Amy Wilkinson and yours truly will resume our weekly Outlander Live! show on EW Radio, SiriusXM 105.

The new season picks up right after Claire (Caitriona Balfe) travels through the stones to return to her life in 1948, where she gives birth to Jamie’s (Sam Heughan) daughter Brianna and resumes her marriage to her first husband, Frank (Tobias Menzies). Back in the 18th century, Jamie suffers from the aftermath of his doomed last stand at the historic battle of Culloden, as well as the loss of Claire.
